2. Information and Device Data We May Access
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the App may access certain information available on your device.
Device and System Information
The App may access information such as:
Device storage capacity and available storage
CPU/core information
Battery level, charging state, temperature, voltage, health and technology
Network and connectivity status
Wi-Fi connection information such as the current local IP address
Bluetooth adapter and connection status
Installed application information
Application package names and related application metadata
Application cache-size information
Application usage statistics when you enable Usage Access
Device configuration and operating-system information required for supported features
This information is primarily used to provide device-management, diagnostics, auditing and security functionality.
Installed Application Information
The App Audit feature may access information about applications installed on your device.
This can include:
Application name
Package name
Application icon
Application installation/source information where available
Application metadata
Whether an application appears to be a debug/test build
Application cache information
Application usage information where Usage Access is enabled
This information is used to display and audit applications installed on your device.
We do not use installed-app information for advertising profiling or sell installed-app inventories to third parties.
3. Permissions
The App may request Android permissions that are necessary for particular features.
Permissions are requested according to the functionality you choose to use.
Notifications
Notification permission may be used for:
Battery alerts
Security alerts
Anti-Theft alerts
Foreground-service notifications
Other user-requested device alerts
Camera
Camera permission may be used for:
Wi-Fi QR-code scanning
Flashlight-related device protection functionality on supported devices
The App does not use the camera to continuously record or upload photos or videos.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth-related permissions may be used to:
Detect Bluetooth adapter status
Monitor Bluetooth device connection/disconnection events
Provide Bluetooth-related Anti-Theft protection
Location
Android location permission may be requested for device/location-related functionality and because certain Android connectivity features may require location permission.
The App only accesses location information when required by an enabled feature. If a feature does not require location information, the App does not intentionally collect precise location data for that feature.
Usage Access
The App may request Android Usage Access permission for Digital Wellbeing functionality.
When enabled, this may allow the App to determine:
Application usage duration
Screen/application activity information
Application usage patterns required to provide app limits and Digital Wellbeing features
Usage Access is optional and is controlled through Android system settings.
Installed Application Visibility
The App Audit feature may require broad application visibility to identify and display applications installed on the device.
This information is used for the App Audit functionality and is not intended for advertising personalization.
Overlay Permission
The App may request permission to display overlays for features such as:
App blocking
Anti-Theft protection
Security-related screen protection
Overlay access can be disabled through Android system settings.
Device Administrator
The Anti-Theft feature may optionally use Android Device Administrator functionality to detect failed device-unlock attempts.
This functionality is user-controlled. Device Administrator access can be revoked through Android settings.
Foreground Service
The App may use an Android foreground service for active security and monitoring features that the user has enabled, such as Anti-Theft guards and device protection.
Android displays a persistent system notification while applicable foreground-service functionality is active.
4. Wi-Fi QR Scanner
The Wi-Fi QR scanner uses the device camera to read QR codes.
When a Wi-Fi QR code is scanned, the App may display information encoded in the QR code, such as:
Wi-Fi network name (SSID)
Security/encryption type
Hidden-network status
Wi-Fi password contained in the QR code
The scanned information is used to provide the requested functionality.
The App does not intentionally upload scanned Wi-Fi credentials to our servers.
You should avoid scanning QR codes containing sensitive information unless you trust their source.
5. Anti-Theft Features
Device Manager Pro provides optional Anti-Theft and security features such as:
Motion detection
Charger-related alerts
Overheat alerts
Bluetooth connection monitoring
Airplane-mode-related protection
Wrong-password/unlock-attempt detection
Alarm and flashlight alerts
These features may use device sensors, system events, notifications, audio, vibration, flashlight controls, overlays and foreground services depending on which protections you enable.
The App does not secretly activate these features without the relevant functionality being enabled by the user.
6. App Audit
The App Audit feature is designed to help users inspect applications installed on their own device.
It may identify information such as:
Installed applications
Application package information
Installation/source information
Debug/test application indicators
Cache usage
Application usage information where available
The App Audit feature is not an antivirus or malware-detection engine.
The App does not claim that an application is malware solely from the information displayed by the App Audit feature.
7. Storage and Cache Information
The App may access system-provided storage statistics and application cache information to display device-storage and application-storage information.
Examples include:
Total internal storage
Available/free storage
Application cache sizes
The App's own cache information
The App does not require access to your personal files merely to display basic device storage capacity and available storage.
Where Android requires additional access for a specific file-related feature, the App will request the relevant permission or system access.
8. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Some settings and preferences may be stored locally on your device using Android/Flutter local storage mechanisms.
Examples may include:
App preferences
Anti-Theft settings
Battery alert thresholds
App limits
Security configuration
Selected alarm/ringtone preferences
Other settings required to operate the App
This locally stored information generally remains on your device unless you remove the App, clear its data, or otherwise delete it.

We may use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve reliability, usability and performance.
Analytics information may include events such as:
App screen views

General interaction events
Technical/device-related information made available by the analytics service
Analytics data is processed by Google according to Google's applicable policies.
We do not intentionally send passwords, Wi-Fi passwords, PINs or similar private credentials to Firebase Analytics as analytics events.
10. Advertising
The App may display advertisements using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).
